Una Vida is grateful to be a resource for FREE food, diapers, clothing, shoes, and children’s books through our distributions and Community Closet.

Yes! We kindly ask for donations that are washed, in-season, and can be worn with pride: no holes or stains.
Donations are accepted during the Community Closet's open hours of 2 p.m. to 5 p.m every Thursday and Saturday.
Please do not leave any donations outside when the Community Closet is closed. We rent our space and need to be respectful. We no longer accept donations at Bond Avenue.
The Community Closet is located on the left side of the United Methodist Church chapel at 410 D Street in Petaluma.
Please visit us every Thursday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

We gratefully accept unopened food donations not beyond their “best by” date for our Saturday distributions and Grocery Delivery Program.
Please drop off your donations on:

Due to limited space, we are unable to accept other items at this time. However we encourage you to post your items in our Facebook group, “Una Vida Community Connections | Conexiones Comunitarias” as there may be a community member who would love your goods!

Yes! You may pick up a receipt during your drop off at the Community Closet or our food distribution. You may also request a receipt by emailing donate@una-vida.org.

As a small nonprofit operating on a limited budget and powered primarily by volunteers, Una Vida focuses on providing free food, clothing, and specially arranged household items to the public. We are unable to offer additional services beyond these essential resources. If there is an item you need, check out our Facebook group, “Una Vida Community Connections | Conexiones Comunitarias” as there may be someone who has what you’re looking for there!
